My unexpected surprise in podcasting so far
The women who impacted my career
My goal for all women listening to this podcast
I am amazed and so filled with gratitude to be recording Episode #30 of Only Girl On The Jobsite!
I have tried for years to share the knowledge and experience I have – including multiple blogs I have written but never published.
Trying podcasting and getting through 29 episodes was really nothing I have thought through. I just thought I’d try it, but you have all given me amazing feedback, and I can’t thank you enough! 30 episodes in! I can’t wait to see what’s going on 30 episodes from now.
Before podcasting I could only reach my friends and family, my circle, and my clients. And considering I have a very small studio I can only take on so many jobs.
So to be able to share what I know and what I’ve learned over the years with countless people….is a dream come true.
If you’re just now joining me, you’re probably wondering how in the world I got into the construction side of an interior design world. I thought I would share with you how I ended up doing this niche inside my industry. My path was a traditional interior decorating path.
In today’s episode, I will be sharing my journey from the first interior design job I took, to what led me to where I am today, and most importantly, why I am so passionate to thank the women who trained me and gave me the confidence that I needed to run construction projects…..digging into that side of the industry that can seem intimidating.
It is just so amazing to me that someone else is finding value in what I’m saying because that is my true goal in all of this. I was privileged enough to learn from experienced women who wanted to share their knowledge with me and I feel this obligation to them to share that knowledge and experience with others.
