  • Areas I see people misunderstanding most frequently

  • How Only Girl On The Jobsite Course can help you correct course your project no matter where you are in the process

  • The importance of research and understanding your role BEFORE starting your project

Are you a homeowner who is gearing up for your projects to start in the New Year?

It can be so overwhelming to take on your own home renovation project!

Whatever stage you’re in – the research stage, about to kick off the hiring process of the team, the beginning stages of the projects – no matter the stage, the overwhelm can start to kick in.

It’s my goal to share the tips and tricks that I use on the very same types of projects that you as homeowners are taking on your own. Whether you have the support of an interior designer (which of course, I’m always going to recommend because I know the value that a trained professional can bring to a client in their experience throughout a renovation)  or if you are taking your project on your own, there are still valuable things that you can learn so that you can become an equal in this process that will create a smoother and less stressful project for everyone.

So listen in – I have some tips for you in today’s episode!

The part I see people really misunderstanding until it can be too late, is your role, the homeowner’s role in their project.

You are the one who is going to have to make the decisions on countless items all through the project, at each and every stage, which could be daily, weekly, or bi-weekly….and they are not decisions that can be made by anyone but you.

Yes, the contractor will be making some decisions as well, but do you really want the contractor to be making decisions for you, for your home, that you will live with in the end?

These are all topics that are critical to fully understand at the beginning of ANY project, so that you are not caught off guard either financially, or in time commitment, or in research. It is so important that everybody understands what their role is and how it’s all going to play out!

These topics and so many more are incorporated in The Only Girl On The Jobsite course. Missing proper budgets, not understanding the scope of work, misunderstanding of the time commitment and role the homeowner must play in the project are all avoidable…..if you are knowledgeable in how to run a smooth renovation project.

Even if you are mid-way through a project and things aren’t going your way this course can help you right the ship.

I highly recommend checking this course out. I know you will find something in there for you whatever stage you’re in!
